Ferrite Industry-Strontium Ferrites

The achievable magnetic properties of strontium ferrite are significantly higher than that of barium ferrite.

Furthermore, stontium ferrite enjoys a high degree of chemical stability and is completely non-toxic, which makes it ideal for a wide range of applications.

Ceramic strontium ferrite materials are in wide-spread use in many industries, such as the electrical and automotive industry. For example, virtually every modern automobile contains light electrical motors used for operating everything from windshield and headlight wipers to electrical window openers and sun-roofs.

Further applications include sound and data storage technology, micromotors for cassette and video tape recorders, television technology, generators, speaker magnets, magnet clamps and retainers for mechanical engineering, and magnetic snap-lock strips for furniture and refrigerators.
